Generally everything seems okay, however I’ve now had LR shut down on me four times in reasonably quick succession. However, first part of the exercise was to upgrade my Mac OS to High Sierra. I’m currently running LR 5.7 and know that I’ll soon have to upgrade to LR7 (Classic). They haven’t been extensively tested on the new High Sierra operating system, but many people report that they don’t open, or crash regularly. Older Lightroom versions are not supported, and will not be updated. The good news is Lightroom CC 2015.12 and Lightroom 6.12 and later do work on High Sierra. The big question is, does Lightroom work? The newest Mac operating system, macOS 10.13 Sierra, goes live later today.
